The Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operation Ltd. (ADCO) was the main organizer of a Road Safety training event focused on the prevention of road traffic accidents for drivers and other employees who use company vehicles to drive between work sites. Amana Healthcare Medical and Rehabilitation Hospital, one of the supporters of the event, was on-site to facilitate the training for the employees.

Destination Medicine, a health sciences career fair, was held on Sunday for Emirati students by Al Jalila Foundation, a global philanthropic charity dedicated to transforming lives through medical education and research, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai and supported by Amana Healthcare, the GCC’s leading provider of advanced long-term care and post-acute inpatient rehabilitation.

Amana Healthcare, the first provider of specialized inpatient rehabilitation services in the UAE, was the lead sponsor of the Neurorehabilitation Abu Dhabi 2015 conference and featured heavily in its scientific program. Leading the rehabilitation industry in UAE, Amana Healthcare actively participated in the conference from March 5-7 to discuss current practices and regional needs in neurorehabilitation.

Amana Healthcare announced its completion of the first specialised hospital for advanced medical rehabilitation in the UAE.

The 80-bed facility — the first of its kind in the UAE and is located in the Khalifa A area of Abu Dhabi and will provide intensive inpatient rehabilitation for medically complex patients after major disabling events such as stroke, head injury, major surgery or severe illness.
