Mark Fielding Clinical Resource Nurse – Abu Dhabi

Mark is the Clinical Resource Nurse at Amana Healthcare, Abu Dhabi. Mark has over 18 years’ experience in the nursing profession, holding positions in senior clinical, management and education. He recently held the position of Head of Department for the Practice Development and Education Unit in a large tertiary referral hospital in the Middle East. This position allowed Mark to develop and implement many research projects that he presents at both national and international conferences. Mark is also a permanent member of the UAE Nursing and Midwifery Council where he develops and reviews the scopes of practice for Registered Nurses, Specialist Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses. Currently Mark is enrolled in a PhD programme where he is researching the development and evaluation of a leadership-based competency programme to develop nurses into stream-specific careers pathways.

Hilary Lynne Twiggs Clinical Resource Nurse – Al Ain

Hilary Lynne Twiggs is the Clinical Resource Nurse at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. Matsitsellele Mamogoje Shoai Senior Staff Nurse – Al Ain

Maria is a Senior Staff Nurse in the Adult Long Term Ventilated Unit at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. She obtained her Diploma in General Nursing in 1984 and her Diploma in Midwifery in 1986 from Natalspruit College of Nursing in South Africa. Then, in 1995 she attained her Diploma in Community Health Nursing from University of Free State in South Africa. Maria has been in the nursing practice since 1986 and has held Charge Nurse roles in her employment in South Africa, KSA and most recently in a JCIA accredited government hospital in Al Ain.

Stella is a Senior Staff Nurse in the Pediatrics Long Term Ventilated Unit at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. She qualified in 1997 with a Diploma of Nursing from Fiji School of Nursing in Fiji. Then in 2001, she obtained her degree in Bachelor of Health in Nursing from Central Queensland University in Australia. She worked as a Staff Nurse for over 19 years in ICU, PICU and CCU in Fiji and most recently in a JCIA accredited government hospital in Al Ain.
