Nadine is the Rehabilitation Team Leader at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. She was conferred with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ghent in Belgium in 1996 with national recognition for her thesis. Her early career was spent developing her skills as a Chartered Physiotherapist, becoming involved in Rehabilitation, General Practice, Sports injury and Geriatric care. She began to specialize in the treatment of people with a neuro-disability in a clinical care setting in the late ‘90s and her work in disability led to the introduction of the Bobath concept to the centre, qualifying as a Bobath Assistant Tutor in 2011 and specializing in Gait Analysis Practitioner in 2013. She became the Head of the Physical Therapy Department in a tertiary referral hospital in Dammam, KSA in 2012 where she introduced many new initiatives and work practices. She strongly advocated for combined pathways of care in the interest of the patient, which helped the growth and recognition of the department with specialized care pathways.
