Deborah is a Senior Physiotherapist at Amana Healthcare. Deborah obtained a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand in 2004. She has spent over seven years in various acute care settings. Deborah has spent the last three years in the UAE as the team leader for critical care, acute neurology/neurosurgery, stroke and medical units within a JCIA (Joint Commission International Accreditation) accredited hospital.

Nadine Angela De Clercq Rehabilitation Team Leader – Al Ain

Nadine is the Rehabilitation Team Leader at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. She was conferred with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ghent in Belgium in 1996 with national recognition for her thesis. Her early career was spent developing her skills as a Chartered Physiotherapist, becoming involved in Rehabilitation, General Practice, Sports injury and Geriatric care. She began to specialize in the treatment of people with a neuro-disability in a clinical care setting in the late ‘90s and her work in disability led to the introduction of the Bobath concept to the centre, qualifying as a Bobath Assistant Tutor in 2011 and specializing in Gait Analysis Practitioner in 2013. She became the Head of the Physical Therapy Department in a tertiary referral hospital in Dammam, KSA in 2012 where she introduced many new initiatives and work practices. She strongly advocated for combined pathways of care in the interest of the patient, which helped the growth and recognition of the department with specialized care pathways.

Azaria Linde Physiotherapist – Al Ain

Azaria is a Home Health Care Physiotherapist at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. She qualified in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the Free State in South Africa. Prior to joining Amana, Azaria worked as a Physiotherapist for over 11 years in hospitals and in private Physiotherapy practice in South Africa.

She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from the Perpetual Help College of Manila in the Philippines in 2001. Right after qualifying, she worked in a tertiary children’s hospital in the Philippines until 2005. Then, she relocated to Saudi Arabia in 2005 to work as a Respiratory Therapist II in a JCI accredited government hospital in Al Ahsa and in 2011, she was promoted to a Respiratory Therapist I role in the same hospital. Alongside with her role as a Respiratory Therapist I, Marilou has accepted an appointment as a Respiratory Therapist Clinical Teaching Assistant in 2016 in a government university specializing in health sciences in Al Ahsa.

Prior to being rehired in Amana in 2018, Mylee was working as a Respiratory Therapist in a government hospital in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi for 3 years.

Luchelle Esguerra Respiratory Therapy Technician – Al Ain

Luchelle is a Respiratory Therapy Technician at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. She completed her degree in Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College in the Philippines in 1995. She started her career as a Respiratory Therapist in a private hospital in the Philippines for 3 years and then she relocated to Saudi Arabia in 1998 and worked in 2 different hospitals until 2004. She then returned to the Philippines and started working again in 2007 in a private hospital before moving to the UAE in November 2007 to join a JCI accredited tertiary hospital in Al Ain. Luchelle moved to a tertiary hospital in Singapore in 2012 and then returned to the UAE in 2013 to join Amana as a Respiratory Technician and then transferred to another private hospital in Al Ain in 2014. She was re-hired in Amana and joined the facility in Abu Dhabi in 2017 before transferring to the Al Ain facility.

Leandri Pretorius Occupational Therapist – Al Ain

Leandri is an Occupational Therapist at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012 from University of Pretoria in South Africa. Prior to joining Amana, Leandri worked as an Occupational Therapist in a government hospital and in a private Occupational Therapy practice in South Africa.
