Mariam highlighted the various improvements she had experienced in terms of quality of her life at Amana Healthcare; whether it was to being encouraged to make outdoor trips to the mall, Abu Dhabi grand mosque, local parks and home visits or whether it was the encouragement she received in continuing her profession of teaching by conducting Arabic lessons for the western staff at the hospital.
Veronica Sackey, Home Health Care Coordinator at Amana Healthcare, gave an insightful talk on the role of a rehabilitation nurse in a Home Care setting.
